US-Australian Dialogue: Cooperation in the Asia-Pacific 2016

The US-Australian Dialogue on Cooperation in the Asia-Pacific was held on January 29 in Los Angeles, presented by Northrop Grumman and in partnership with the University of California Los Angeles (UCLA).

The day-long conference featured a keynote discussion between Australian Minister for Foreign Affairs the Hon Julie Bishop MP and UCLA Director of the UCLA Burkle Centre and four expert panel discussions covering the implications of the 2016 US Presidential Elections for the Australia-US relationship, the strategic implications of the Trans Pacific Partnership trade agreement, the conflict in the South China Sea and the growing threat of terrorism in the Asia-Pacific. More than 150 guests from the academic, business, consular, foreign policy and think-tank sectors attended the high-level forum.
